Module 6 Karen and Steph
In this module we learned about self assessments for the students. I like the idea of a self assessment for the students because I believe it makes them apart of the project. They also will have a better understanding of what is expected from them, because they are the ones that created the assessment to begin with.

Module 4 reflection for Karen and Steph
How can technology be used most effectively to support and assess student learning?
In our unit plan we are having the students use power point to create their final project. Anytime that the students use the computer to create something like this, they will be learning skills that they will need for the future. Depending on how well they put together their presentation will determine how well they truely understood how to put together a ppt.

Module2
Today we created the framework for the unit plan on multiplying and dividing fractions. We created different questions for the students to answer or think about, a timeline, outline, different assessments, and the presentations.
We had some trouble with the Wiki (it was not wanting to cooperate with our needs) and in the end posted concerns and solutions hoping we did it right :-)

Module 1
I have just completed Module 1 of the intel course! One down, several more to go. Going through the module really made me think about what I am going to be teaching my students, and the best way to go about it. I am eager to see how well my students take lesson that I have lined up. On paper it looks great; but I really will not know what worked what did not work until I am able to share the unit with my students.
